NOx Sensors
Diesel SCR emission control
NOx Sensors
Heated NOx sensors for urea-SCR systems in light- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles, built to replace OE ECU-critical emission sensors.
The NOx sensor sits upstream or downstream of the SCR catalyst and reports nitrogen-oxide concentration to the ECU in real time. The ECU uses that signal to meter urea-DEF dosage, so the sensor is not a convenience part — it is an emissions-compliance part. Our sensors use a heated zirconia element with on-board signal conditioning, calibrated to a defined curve at the bench before packaging.
We build both the sensing element and the electronics in-house. That means the calibration curve you receive is the one we measured, not one inherited from a module supplier. For any OE number you currently fit, we will return the SHR equivalent with its measured curve, response time and connector definition before you order.
Available in analogue and CAN 2.0B output variants, with custom harness lengths and terminal crimping to match your target vehicle.
Representative series and where they fit
Representative series, not an exhaustive price list. Series codes are our internal naming; the connector and range cells are what a buyer actually checks first. For any OE number you fit we will return the exact SHR equivalent with its own datasheet.
| Series | Sensing element | Range | Connector | Typical fitment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NXS-1xx | Heated zirconia, analogue | 0–4000 ppm | 5-pin, thermocouple cable | SCR downstream, legacy ECU |
| NXS-2xx | Heated zirconia, CAN 2.0B | 0–4000 ppm | 5-pin, D-sub | Heavy-duty truck ECU |
| NXS-3xx | Heated zirconia, 8 W | 0–4000 ppm | 5-pin, M12 18 mm | Cold-start critical locations |
OE numbers in demand
Numbers harvested from current after-market demand in our categories, with the application the demand carried. This is a statement of what we cross-reference routinely — not a fitment guarantee. Send your OE number and we will confirm coverage and return the datasheet before any order is placed.

Why distributors buy from SHR
Calibrated per unit
Each sensor is bench-measured against a reference standard and the curve is printed on the test report supplied with the shipment.
Heated zirconia element
Fast heating to operating temperature for cold-start emissions measurement, which is where most field failures come from.
Analogue and CAN output
Both legacy analogue voltage and modern CAN 2.0B firmware variants are supported.
Rugged sensor head
IP67 sealed head, thermocouple-rated cable and a housing that survives underbody vibration and road spray.
Custom harness
Connector, length and terminal type matched to your target vehicle so fitment needs no modification.
Fitment coverage
- Light-duty diesel passenger cars with SCR
- Heavy-duty truck engines (ISF / D13 / MX-11 class)
- Bus and coach engines
- Off-road diesel and heavy equipment
- Diesel generator sets
- Emission-testing and retrofit converters
