Resonant and broadband piezo sensors with OE-matched frequency and sensitivity — because ignition timing follows this signal.
A knock sensor listens for the characteristic resonance of detonation and tells the ECU to retard ignition. Sensitivity that is even slightly off either retards timing permanently — costing power and fuel — or ignores real knock, costing the engine.
We supply resonant and broadband piezo sensors matched to the OE frequency, sensitivity and mounting torque, with the torque spec marked on the body as the OE part carries it.
Every batch is verified on a shaker table against a reference sensor, and the verification record ships with the parts.
